Heimdallr MM300

To preface, I'm generally quite happy with my purchase. Shipping was fast, communication was excellent, and the look, feel, and wearability of the watch are remarkable at this price point. My only issue is that the watch was missing its case gasket—the all-important rubber o-ring that sits in the channel in the case beneath the edge of the screw-down crystal and ensures the professed water resistance of the watch.

Yeah, that's a problem.

I had worn the watch on vacation while swimming (read: leisurely floating in a pool) with no apparent issues, but later in the evening I noticed fog under the crystal—clear evidence of a leak. The watch continued to run, keeping good time at that, but the lingering humidity persisted for the remainder of my trip (during which I made certain to keep the watch well away from water).

Upon returning home, I removed the bezel and disassembled the case to dry things out and survey the damage, at which point I discovered that the aforementioned gasket was simply not there—just an empty groove where it should have been.

Again, this is a solidly built watch, and I'm assuming that this problem is an aberration, but it must be said that more attention needs to be paid during assembly, and caveat emptor to anyone taking the professed water resistance as a given.

I was very impressed with the quality of the case and the finish. The automatic seagull movement keeps very good time

Heimdallr/wr watches are actually doing very very good even though this crisis doggs their every move 5 stars for effort performance and perfection.... these people, this team of individuals and this company as a whole are making a great effort admist very very trying and difficult times we can only hope and that EVERYBODY is safe and well and their pets and the people continue to flourish and thrive... let s hope that asa society or culture as whole lets hope this doesnt wipe out ‘modern man’....lol hopefully we will all come through this knowing that life whereever and whatever it is is precious and vulnerable and everything in the universe has it place space and life span some short some long some things like inanimate ‘objects million s of year us ... our lives are fragile and vulnerable a simple bacteria cou/ld destroy society as we know it in the space of maybe 1year or 14 days perhaps?what ever we should love and care for everything around us,in us and that we rely on to live and keep our body engine moving and living we are consumers, wht do we give back to the earth and societyandthe universe around us... are we beneficial to l,ife on earth or have we outlived our time... should we vanish and dissapear like atlantis... down into the sea...

I have not recieved the heimdallr mm300 poor show wr watches,however thats computer error no ones fault and the virus wituation i a hundred percent support heimdallr and wr watches in theor fine customer serious and their unceasing care and concern for their customers 5 star effort and performance and product is second to none!!!!
