Great homage

I haven't have a chance to handle a 6159-7010 (Grandfather Tuna), and TBH I will not spend such money on a watch.
For around 190 USD I think this Rdunae R1 Titanium Tuna is a great deal if this size and look is your cup of tea.
Cons (no star deducted):
* not the monocoque-monoblock-unibody case as the original (but from service standpoint it is better, as I don't plan to do Heliox dives), I did know this, but I have to mention
* strap is good, but for this case height is a little thin (compared to my Seiko Arnie issued strap and Bonetto Cinturini 285)
Pros:
* titanium as the original
* nice feel for the build quality, as a very large watch I think we will meet some doorframes, but I'm not sure if the doorframes will survive
* uses Seiko NH35, so somehow feels better than an average homage (and Seiko still makes some change from it)

This size makes the Arnie looks like a dress watch...

Quality

Very impressed with the fit and finish. The lum is amazing. Timegrapher readings were excellent in all positions. Highly recommend these watches.

Outstanding bang-for-the-buck, looks the part minus the 4k pricetag, accuracy is more than acceptable without any regulation, absolutely chuffed.

Emperor tuna

This is my first homage and I’m delighted. The materials and finish are great. I don’t like rubber straps generally but this one is great. I intend to use it to dive regularly so let’s see how it manages with pressure and salt water. The service was great. Thanks Nicole.
