Rdunae Vintage Turtle 6105-8000

I bought muy first Rdunae 6105-8000 homage 4 years ago and i just bought another one and hace noticed so e improvements. Te finishing of te case, which was already good, os now better finished. Ten glasés has also improved without he bluish tones of the first editions. The accuracy of the watch is also better than the one i bought 4 years ago. The only thing i would like is for the minute markings to be reflected on the glass as they do on the original model, could be great. Thank you WR Watches!! Totally recommended.

This very nice and accurate homage of the 6105-8000. It is a little smaller than the 6105-8110 "captain Willard" watch and fits under a shirt cuff better. Comfortable and relatively light weight on the supplied tropic strap. I love the two tone model that is stainless and hints of a gold color accent. I wish the lume were a little better so that I could see it at night and that would be my only issue with the watch.

Read a lot reviews on the 6105-8000 and agreed that aside from an original 6105, this one is the best. When it arrived, I was very happy to discover that the watch exceeded my expectations for build quality, attention to detail, alignment, and more. I liked it so much I then bought the 615-8110, and same story, great value. Highly recommended.

This is my second R2 because I sold the first one about a year ago. I just missed this watch so much then purchased this one again. They have made 4 changes that I can see from the naked eyes;
1. The dot on the bezel insert near 12 o'clock is now correct. 4 vs 3 on the older model.
2. The hands are all polished (with the same beveled edges) now to match the original 6105-8000. This is a pro and con to me. It's faithful but legibility is now poorer than the older model.
3. The bezel frame is now thicker and closer to the original watch.
4. Baffling decision by Rdunae, why on earth they put the arrow marker on the crown like the Willard. The arrow is also pointing in the wrong direction (like the old non screw down Seiko), they already fixed the issue on the Willard but not this. I would prefer just the sterile crown or RDUNAE name engraved.
5. The AR coating is now clear.

Overall, still an excellent watch at this price. Nobody beats Rdunae at making a vintage homage!
