Great watch for the money

Great watch for the money. The patina developed nicely. It keeps good time also. Toss the rubber strap and change it out for a vintage leather one.

A big watch for a big wrist

Received the piece and was struck by its physical size, it's a chunky monkey. Having said that I have big wrists and the piece sits very well. It is very high quality and the dial, indices and general finish is beautiful. It is not so much a royal oak homage as a royal oak offshore but without the chrono complications. There has been criticism of the internal bezel movement, and it is a stout task to rotate it, but it is ostensibly for diving so it should not spin with the flick of the fingers. If I were to have a moan it would be the lume, almost non existent, which kind of defeats its tool watch purpose. It will never be a delicate formal occasion watch, but it does the job when I'm braving the seas in my kayak, helped by the very robust rubber strap. It's oxidising nicely already, I like bronze watches and this one is now my favourite.

Hruodland bronze diver

Great styling. Feels well built. Except the inner rotating bezel is not smooth. It’s rough. Very rough. Not that it’s too tight just so rough that it gets stuck and you have to take the watch off the wrist to get it to rotate all the way around. This watch is not ready for market yet. It’s not fun to use.
